Sharky's
313 Iron
Point Rd / (916) 351-1140
Sharky's is a regular spot
for my wife and I, since it's so close to where we work and live.
Sharky's serves a "Fresh Mex" style of food, with a wide
variety of organic foods. This place is still quite popular at all
times, and rightfully so. It's the first franchise location of
Sharky's in Northern California - Sharky's is a predominantly
Southern California chain.
Sharky's is along the same lines of
Baja Fresh and Chevy's - They make things fresh and do not skimp on
the good stuff. I personally am a fan of their steak torta's, which
includes shredded steak, onions, tomatoes, green and
red peppers,
and guacamole, all on a bun of some sort. Yum! This place is also
very famous for its fish tacos... If you're a fan of Pescado's in
midtown, you'd like this place. It's a refreshing change of pace.
Also served is a wide variety of
beers for your thirst needs. Food this good seems to be nicely
complimented by a cold cerveza.
Next time you decide to grab a movie
at the Folsom Theaters, grab a bite to eat at Sharky's ahead of
time. You will not be disappointed! The food is great and the
atmosphere is quite festive.
