Sutter
Street could use your business! |
As you may know, Sutter Street and
the strip mall at Folsom-Auburn and Greenback are taking a
serious hit from the Dam Road closure. With the closing of the
Folsom Dam Road, motorists are forced to funnel through old
Folsom and the Rainbow Bridge, snarling traffic on Folsom-Auburn
on past Sutter Street. A direct result of this is less sales to
businesses along this route, as motorists have become frustrated
with dealing with traffic.
One of our members decided to take
it upon herself to make sure she does some Christmas shopping on
Sutter Street. The idea has caught on, and now several members
are doing the same, and
reporting out what they bought on our message boards.
Take the Sutter Street Challenge and purchase at least 1
item from Sutter Street merchants, or merchants along the
Folsom-Auburn/Greenback strip mall. Not only will you be getting
a great gift, but you will be supporting local merchants who
desperately need your business.
